About Rebecca Spohn
Rebecca Spohn wears many hats, as a fine artist, children’s book illustrator and a published author.
Many of her acrylic paintings have been exhibited in galleries throughout Michigan and have been featured in painting magazines, including: The Decorative Painter. Her work covers a spectrum of styles, from whimsy to realistic.
She’s excited about her children’s book,which she wrote and illustrated, titled: Ready, Set, Grow: A Kid’s Guide to Gardening, published by Good Year Books, 2007. Her colorful and fun illustrations, which are a combination of acrylic and colored pencil, have also appeared in Hopscotch for Girls Magazine, Boys’ Quest Magazine, Highlights Magazine, My Friend Magazine and many more.
Rebecca also enjoys writing and recently won 1st place in the Writer's Digest Popular Fiction Contest, 2007.
Rebecca and her husband happily make their home in, which she affectionately calls, Sunnybrook Farm.
